Is will possible to control the startup/shutdown of the Pin64, i think about a button connecting to some pin that manage software shutdown and  power circuit ?

Their is soft power switch option on the new rev B Pine A64 board (the board that deliver to developer on early January and to KS folks on February), Android OS already supported this switch. There is also a reset switch option on Rev B board. Another feature added on Rev B is UART console port.

The button position is there. We don't stuff the button due to every case may has it owns button switch requirement such as short or long nose. If we solder a botton there, it is hard to get out and may damage the board if you are not good in soldering.

So the ability to have a switch will be there and we just need to solder the switch ourselves?

Can you advice what kind of button to use for us non-savvy users?

I'll want to have the buttons on hand when I receive the board.

I am sorry I can't read Chinese characters. Could we wire the switch around 4 feet away from the board than?
