Canon lbp printer set up
#1
Hello,

I got problem with using my lbp 6020 printer. I used the 32bit drivers as amr64 drivers are not available. Everything went Ok, but when try to print a test page or any other, the printer shows "Filter Failed" error and it does not print. Have someone encountered this?

this is the output of lpstat -t

as I checked /etc/init.d/ccpd status I got no numbers as i installed it on Ubuntu I got two numbers which meant that it was operating correctly..

Thanks, Lenny! Well, not there, but have followed the same steps and no success. The printer is LBP 6020, and now I am using the 32bit drivers, which show up in the cups add driver menu but had no success or whatsoever so far. Still when I send it a page to print it ends up with 'Filter Failed'. These LBP printers.. I should have paid more attention on compatibility..
