Need OS

I'm looking for the os for the original Pine A64 A64+ I have over and over downloaded the android 8.1 
I have also installed on my computer even going back to older systems Phoenix card win 32 disk manager and Etcher 
with 7 zip and i can not find an *.IMG for the life of me can some one please tell me what I'm doing wrong or give me a link to the correct software

I'm not sure how to use this do i just flash my SD Card with the Pine64 software on the Net BSD site or do i need to do some thing different?

you would download this image: https://nycdn.netbsd.org/pub/arm/NetBSD-...e64.img.gz

then use etcher (or similar app, like the Pine64 branded one) to write the img to your SD

there's also several other OS options here: https://pine64.org/documentation/Pine_A64/Software/

I down loaded the img file for the pine64 I thought great and when i used etcher it said complete 
and i tried in the pine and nope still no boot I have two pines old originals and they will not boot I have the original os android only card i have and they both boot with it but i need a back up os so if this one dies i have the other so Im sot sure what I am doing wrong but im not likening windows 11 im about ready to go back to xp

I have also downloaded the android on the pine65 website thats where i started and it dont work either so i am stuck.

Did you download the Android img fro the old wiki or the newer documentation page? The wiki is full of a lot of older/abandoned imgs, such as Android. Try pulling something else from the documentation page I linked above instead.

The link you gave me takes me to the same place where i downloaded the android 8.1 that is all i found i looked for older ones and cant find them.

that makes sense then, that android download is not a useable img, it's just the sdk. it will not boot from an sd card. is android your desired img to boot on your A64? if so, those imgs are all very out of date/abandoned. but you can find some here: https://github.com/ayufan-pine64/android...tag/0.3.10
