Hi everyone,
I received my Pine A64 2G+ and I was exicted to test it; but I even do not success to flash any OS.
the system:
- microSD, samsung 32Go, class 10, with an adapter (but try several), and set the adapter either on the laptop SD reader or using an external USB SD reader
- I downloaded : remix for 32Go, remix for 16Go, android5.1.1 for 32Go and android 5.1.1 for 16 Go
- zip file were decompress using winrar
-installation via Phoenixcard 3.1 (I tested the lower version)
the problem: after clicking on "Img File" and selecting the image (of course the decompress and not the zip) the soft send me the error dialog box "script not found! please use a new version image".
to check the image I launch Win32 disk manager which return me the error "not enough space: blabla"
I can not beleive the 4 OS images I tested were/are not working;
What do you think I did wrong?
thanks
Ludovic

that's works for the Android image, but I got the message "card preprocess failed" for remixOs! 1251"
but at the works also for Remix Os, the error was coming from my internal card reader which unplugged virtually the microsd
@ Ludovic: yes, a USB SD card reader is preferable to internal reader, I think.
Android 5.1.1 Image (LCD Panel Video Output) Release 20160603 Phoenix Card image is not working.

Are you getting a script not found error? That is what this thread is about.
Yep.
Work around is to use Win32DiskImager.

It is not a workaround, exactly. There are images meant for Win32DiskImager (or DD) and there are images meant for PhoenixCard. Images meant for one will not work with the other. If you are getting a script not found error when attempting to burn an image with PhoenixCard, it is because you are trying to burn an image that is meant for Win32DiskImager (or DD).
This is a useful thread. I used Win32Diskimager (because I was used to it on Raspberry Pi) to create a Debian Image on a 16GB card, which worked and could be resized to fill the card. I then tried Android. When I loaded a 16 GB image on a SanDisk Ultra card Win32DiskImager said it was too large (by about 100K) and would not play. Same happened with another card. I then tried Phoenix card and once I found out about the "script not found" bit I used it to burn the Phoenix file and was pleased to find a working Android system which used all the card space
