Hi , my pinephone pro has the SIM sock broken . Can I still get a gps position from Manjaro plasma in my SD card?

I don't understand the question
 FYI, I flashed Manjaro Phosh (daily build) to my PinePhone Pro eMMC because I wanted to play with the keyboard, and to my surprise and delite, GPS works great. *** Don't be a minion in the (i)droid army ***

That's true at the hardware level, but not if you're using ModemManager as most distros do. The ModemManager interface will only allow GPS to be enabled if there's a SIM present.
