Since there are a lot of requests on PoE connection, I am looking into spinning a 2G board with PoE capability (this also means power withdraw directly from PoE cable and eliminate micro USB power connector). Please note that this version will not release during Kickstarter campaign time and may available around April or May 2016 timeframe.
Please let me know what type of application that you needs the PoE version. The information will allow me to correctly design this board.
