Possible install & use Thunderbird or Evolution

Hi,

has someone installed Evolution and/or thunderbird ?

I think there were some specialities to do that. Any experiences HOW to do if possible

I have thunderbird under arch linux with posh.

It runs but is sluggish as is everything. Also somehow swiping doesn't work in thunderbird in places strangely. 
I installed it via sudo yay -S thunderbird 

which uses the aur system I believe. But arch is rather new to me.
