Has nothing to do with "fanboyism"... I would love it if the PinePhone actually had a year warranty but the community happens to be littered with "fanboys" who think they know all there is to know about Linux and projects like these—and insist that orgs like Pine64 fulfill their entitled wishes "just because".
Doesn't matter how the PinePhone was marketed.... if you don't do your research for what it is you're buying, what's the point?
Unfortunately, because you do not put thought as to why this kind of "product" is being sold at the price tag at is with the gimmicky hardware it has, then you will ultimately never be convinced otherwise. Not my problem.
