No need to mess around with the nightly/test builds unless you want to. The latest stable release from Sep 5 works on 3GB phones. I'm currently running the F2FS build from eMMC.
Are you referring to Mobian "from Sep 5" works ?
On Mobian the Sep 5 release is considered "stable" while the "nightly's" are considered cutting edge or testing.
They are listed in the same list on the download page, but certain ones are considered "stable"
I do not know if ubports has some that are considered as "stable", they may have some also..?
ubports does also do nightly builds like Mobian.
