Next the combination of a Mobian O.S. and GSM ( ie: T-Mobile, AT&T, Mint ) sim cards seem more likely to succeed.
( Other combinations do work, but the odds seem to favor this combination )
So perhaps try flashing an SD card and see what happens....

I had a working sim from alditalk under ubports, I also tried a sd card with the Manjaro arm pinephone alpha 5, which had a number of added issues (screen artifacts).
Is there a particular image i should test on a sd card?
