One of the things I'd like to see in the next board revision, is bringing out all un-used ports to the edge of the board. For example, there is an internal 4 port USB 2.0 hub, but only 2 of the ports are used. So I'd like the other 2 brought to the edge of the board, and have either solder pads or un-populated connector pads. That would make internal modifications much easier.

The motherboard TX and RX pins are connected to the same UART (ttyS2) as the headphone jack. They are definitely active when the jack is in the headphone-uart disable position, didn't check to see if they are active when in headphone-uart mode yet.
