@pinerokc, note that Lynx comes from the Alpine repositories, not the postmarketOS repositories. postmarketOS is just a single repository on top of the standard Alpine repos with a nifty image builder and development tool 
I find it interesting that you find Lynx excellent for anything on a phone, using a terminal on such a device isn't too much fun.
Note that Alpine developers love contributions, so you can try to fix the upstream package yourself and submit your improvements!
