Guess I am spoiled by all those bootable desktop linux distro that are so user friendly. Tried something like dd OS then dd u-boot bin to sd card thing but it didn't work.
It may be confusing but in most cases one just needs to write an image to SD then restart the phone with SD inserted. U-boot with "SD first" is already there.
