how to upgrade stock rom 8.1 on XZ file

You cannot 'upgrade' your Rock64's android system. This will purge your installation and install the new A 8.1.
You need to unarchive the xz file so you get a .img file. All other information concerning flashing OS images can be found here: http://wiki.pine64.org/index.php/NOOB |
