yes i have a 16gb emmc i got thru ameridroid (https://ameridroid.com/products/emmc-module), have the jumper in place to bypass it during the boot.
wih the jumper out it does successfully boot into debian stretch, will try pul the jumper and boot from emmc to see if i get the same errors.
