Dismiss the OP problem, manually set up system has been runing rock64 solid (pun intended 
) for 10 hours without a problem, downloading at full speed and using the external hdd so the problem is some sort of conflict between OMV and my hdd, im happy now (btw my hdd have no problems at all and its 2 weeks old so im ruling out physical problems (or at least its VERY VERY unlikelly))
