Can't boot headless after running update_uboot.sh

If I run the update_uboot.sh script, then I can no longer boot headless. I've tested the Debian and Xenial Base images. I don't have a serial console, so I can't see if there are any boot messages. All I can tell is that I can no longer connect via SSH, 

Don't update;

... yes, I'm serious.   Or, like my old professor used to say, "If it ain't broke, fix it until it is" !

... my dad used to say, " If you make a mess, clean it up;  If you spill something, wipe it up;  If you break something, fix it;  if you can't fix it, then call somebody who can, and If it ain't broke, don't fix it"


Updates on these SBC(s) do more harm than good;  reload it, and this time, don't update it.
