yeah this would need MAJOR hacking. both hardware and software. that connector looks like it has 2 rows of pins, the pine64 lcd connector does not.
the touchpanel controller would not be the same one that the official pine64 touchpanel has. you'd be basically writing your own drivers, bare minimum. and look at the other threads here to see how far that's going in order to simply use the official lcd on linux...
if you are a professional software developer (with no job to take all your time) you might have a fighting chance. and if you succeed you can probably get a job anywhere you want
