I am having the same issue, except in my case it stopped working the second day I had my Pinecil V2. I successfully used a USB-PD block to bring the Pinecil up to temp, then the next day it could not negotiate more than 5V. I checked the PD debug menu and it isn't leaving State 3. I realized that at least one of the cables that I tried to use had been chewed on, so it is possible that the USB-PD negotiating circuitry was damaged?
Okay fine, so I found a barrel power supply with 19V and 3.5A. The Pinecil recognizes that it has 19V, but when I put it in soldering mode, it does not heat up. The detailed view shows zero watts. I'm not sure what else to do, and nobody else that I have seen has had the same issue as me.
Did either of you try the detailed view?
