Someone asked a good question on https://www.reddit.com/r/PinePhoneOffici...ing_volte/ that is useful to know for this thread.
When using this command during a call:
echo 'AT+CLCC' | sudo atinout - /dev/ttyUSB2 -
The row with the phone number does not have the "1" in the fourth column.
Does it still mean I am using VoLTE if the phone stays in 4G or if it works with the "4G Only" setting?
In this case, the wiki https://wiki.pine64.org/index.php/PinePhone#VoLTE is confusing and should be clarified, since it only mentions the first 2 rows (there are 2 additional rows during a call and I have 4 total rows with the Internet APN or 5 total rows with the MMS APN during a call).
On this thread, I read "the 1,1 indicates that is the active profile" but in my case the line with ROW_Generic_3GPP shows 0,1,0 even when selecting ROW_Generic_3GPP.
@pjsf Some people like me were not even able to make calls while connected to 4G with the stock firmware (or versions below 30.004.30.004) so it could mean VoLTE was not supported: https://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?...#pid122895
