I messed around with Monero for a bit on my PinePhone and liked how focused it is on privacy, but the mobile wallet scene for some newer cryptos can be kind of hit or miss with support or updates. Usually, I just want something that's easy enough to pay for small things and keeps my info private, without crazy speculation or corp control.
While I hate piping or holding large amounts cryptocurrency through website based services you can keep most of your value in say litecoin(have to compile the electrum wallet or use the CLI wallet) or monero then shoot it to a website for the approximate amount you are spending to then make a payment, then make a webapp for that service.
