have you tried writing that img to an sd card and booting from it to see if it behaves the same way? if it boots the way it should from sd, you may be able to use the archinstall script to install arch to your emmc. alternatively, you could try installing manually through the arch arm instructions: https://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv8...ner/pine64
