The exception is mms. I cannot figure out why it won't work. Is there any advice you might have? I also use T-Mobile (though it is through tracfone, I don't see how this would effect anything though) and I use the same mmsc and apn as you in the video. I have calls, sms, and data, I just cant send or receive mms. That is the last thing required for it to be daily drivable for me.
" I got everything working (mostly) pretty well. " - That is good to hear!
In the matter of MMS, I think about 8 months ago, Chatty stopped looking at the system wide access points.
In chatty, go to
Preferences >> Protocal >> SMS/MSS >> MMS Carrier Settings and set those to
MMSC=http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
APN=Fast.t-mobile.com
Quote:"chatty cannot process 1 MMSs..." "mobile data is not configured"So I know it is at least somewhat receiving the mms. If I then turn on mobile data, and verify that the APN is "Fast.t-mobile.com" I never receive anything, or any kind of notification. If I am sent an mms while mobile data is on I don't receive it, or any kind of notification either.
It also fails to send any kind of mms as well, and chatty gives the message:
Quote:"Error Sending mms"I dont know if I did something wrong, or if something is broken... I can't find anything about anyone having the same issue.
