Issues with Biktorgj Custom Modem Firmware

So I recently decided to install Biktorgj's Custom Modem Firmware on my ppp, as it said in the documentation, there is no reason not to, and only added benefit. I installed it using this guide. After the installation, everything seemed to work fine (eg. sms, calls...). I then tried to communicate with the modem using sms as is described here. My messages didn't send, however, and I never received any responses. I also discovered a weird bug where my audio and mic will completely stop working for calls. I cannot hear or be heard by the other phone. Also when I check my voicemail, I hear no audio either. I don't know for sure if the firmware is causing the issue or not, but, it didn't happen until after the installation. Rebooting does not seem to do anything, however, it will randomly start working again before it quits once again. Any insight or advice on these issues will be greatly appreciated. I am currently running the latest stable version of Mobian with Posh. Thanks in advance!

this is what you need, it is a major problem that it is not mentioned in the pine wiki, FAQ, or on the Biktorgj git page; I found it digging through git bug reports even though it is Biktorgj's website. I have used it sucessfully to rescue my PPp and others in the forum have used it too, I have not yet seen any reports of this not fixing a PPp stuck modem.  This also solves the stuck-firmware issues so you can freely flash modem firmwares after this fix without further issues.

this seems to happen to  newer nanoSIM pinephone pros, not sure if it also affects classic allwinner pinephones; this issue pops up in this forum every few weeks.
it is sort of cool in that you end up rewriting the whole modem firmware including hand re-loading the IMEI printed on the modem's RF shield so it can fix nearly any modem problem without having to do any pin shorting and low-level reloading.

I remembered that fastboot likes to run as real root shell so sudo su and then the command for example fixing the IMEI(or flashing) NOT sudo fastboot......
