AFAIK you have 3 choices - Arch, Mobian & postmarketOS. My choice is Arch - I am comfortable with pacman and believe there is a bigger repository of applications (especially with AUR) than pmOS. And I grew out of Mobian as found it too prescriptive.
As I write it may be that Arch is the only 1 of 3 that does not support PPP camera "out of the box" - doesn't affect me though as I have found sxmo runs just fine on my PP and so my PPP is in mothballs for the moment!
