I have same  issue with oficial power supply bought in Pine64 store. Try first another power supply or change the male connector. It looks like official one is too narrow outer diameter or too wide inner one. I've changed it and everythig works fine now
This connectors works very  well form me. I've done some power cables for my several  rock64
