my only regret was not ordering the dock station at the same time. i did get the keyboard case as well. i wish they would have put a note on top of the keyboard saying to not plug charging into the phone port while its in the case, but only plug the charging into the case as it may damage something.......
there should be at least a tag saying go read the latest wiki before you use it...
For me it turned out that the pine phone Pro battery has tape covering the battery contacts inside the case. I wonder up learning about this while watching an 'unboxing' video on youtube. Seems like my phone like his (in YouTube video) and your pine phone Pro as you described - were new and untampered with. I've never had a manufacturer encourage me to take the back cover off a phone before. Ok but with pine microsystems it is expected and so they tape the battery. I thought there should have been a sticker.explaining this but all there was was a small line in the manual to take off the back cover and remove the tape from the battery....
