It seems that the pacman updates for all three branches of Manjaro Arm for the PinePhone Pro - unstable, testing, and stable - have the infamous black screen bug.

But for having installed tow boot and and having enabled sshd, the PinePhone Pro would be a pain to recover.  I need to reload the factory image using the usb drive option of tow boot.
