Payment via PayPal for russian customers.

When trying to pay via PayPal, an error occurs: We couldn't complete your payment for you. To get your payments working again, check your account or contact us.
What can be done to buy? Can I pay by card directly or through another payment system?
Everything worked fine 7-10 days ago.

my guess is that those sanctions have put some serious limitations. although, probably should not be case for paypal. visa and mastercard have already ceased operations in russia which tells a direct hint.
