PinePhone keyboard number key row issue - solution

When people say that it is hard to press the keys in the top row, do they mean that there is resistance to travel or that you have to bang on the key to get the character to appear onscreen? I am experiencing the latter, as reported by another user in another thread at https://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=15749

Definitively the latter - there is no additional resistance of travel, simply it has to be pressed harder when the key has reached its "down" position like if the key cap would be a little bit lower in height (so around a millimetre or less would be missing).
