Vivaldi Browser doesn't start keyboard for text entry

Installed vivaldi browser (that I like alot) through Discover onto pinephone.  Vivaldi starts fine but does not start keyboard to enter text upon selection of a text box.
Did several reboots with no change.

Vivaldi works well on my android samsung galaxy phone.  I also use vivaldi as default browser on my linux pc.

Anyone seen same thing? Anyone found a solution?

I will post this on vivaldi forum also.
