You mentioned Popcorn Hour and I am looking forward to build some kind of media centre similar to Popcorn Hour.
Instead of buying a Raspberry Pi I want to give Pine's Rock64 a try, but it seems finding out a well tested Linux distro or pre-compiled binaries is not as straigth forward as in the RPi world is. I assume this is a hardworkers' community and I want to support it.
Can you provide me with good advice about buying a Rock64 or a Rock64PRO. I want to play video (mostly HD and some in HEVC but very rare) and transmit audio with a bluetooth adapter.
