factory test shows fails and unreliable modem

Hey PINE64 community, maybe someone can help me with the following;

I tried the PostmarketOS factory test img (v0.55.0) on my UBports community edition and got the following results in the automatic test;

EG25 either fails or shows No Sim (With working Sim under UBports)
ANX7688 shows: No CC Fix.
RTL8723CS also often fails. 

What should I do next with this? Are there fixes I can apply or are these hardware faults?

The Community Edition phones seem to have a higher success rate than the Brave Heart Editions...

Next the combination of a Mobian O.S.  and  GSM ( ie: T-Mobile, AT&T, Mint )  sim cards seem more likely to succeed.
       ( Other combinations do work,  but the odds seem to favor this combination )

So perhaps try flashing an SD card and see what happens....

I had a working sim from alditalk under ubports, I also tried a sd card with the Manjaro arm pinephone alpha 5, which had a number of added issues (screen artifacts).

Is there a particular image i should test on a sd card?

PMOS, Mobian, and UBPorts seem popular at this time,
       but as Linux users we have a pretty wide selection to choose from.

I have probably played with Mobian the most,  (recently),    but, I did favor UBPorts at the start of the year.

I do plan on trying 'most' of them as I get a bit more time,      I do favor the Phosh and Gnome desktop editions.

I  need to test drive PMOS,    as I do have the PMOS Convergence Package phone on order.
