Have you checked the log ? does it give you an indication of what may be the issue ?

Does it happen on Midori or Chromium ?

I am having the similar issue. All browsers are shutting down before, or when finished loading, except for Midori.

Nothing showing up in the logs.

Ah yes. Switch over to one of these images.

I did get the one I am using from the wiki for suggested images.

Does it matter which one? I know there are ones which state Pine64, which I have, but they are minimal installations. In my experience Minimal means just the core OS with nothing else fancy installing. Can I use one of those nice PineBook images on a Pine64?

You can't use the Pinebook image. Just get the minimal image and use the script in /usr/local/sbin to install a desktop ... You'll be given a choice between mate or i3. You can obviously install XFCE to manually... or something else for that matter.

I installed the simple-image-pine64-0.6.2.

After installing Mate desktop I see a "Pinebook" logo.

Browser functioning. Thanks
