maybe you should try those basics first. update pmos to the latest packages.

As above check you are updated. Also, during boot is the modem found (especially at about 45 seconds)?

And registering - what is output from Modem, Modem Info menu option? You should see IMEI, Operator details etc?

I'm assuming that you changed from Manjaro, because the pphone crashed after making calls. 
I am having no problem making and receiving calls, using PostmarketOS, however after not using the pphone for a few hours, the modem disappears and I have to reboot.

I installed the software at The Modem Distro but that seems to have made no difference but maybe it would in your case?

 (I'm intrigued that @dukla2000 uses his as a daily driver. I would like to be able to do that.)
