Yes, but the reasoning seems to me a bit missy. I mean it is slugish, OK it does not have to be market ready. I has to be running at some level, so people can dig in...

Yes, especially when I see how much GloDroid could achieve already!

also the reasons are rather.. wild.

First it is "lack of mainstream apps" - which already is pointed out there as bonkers regarding /e/ is based on removing androids mainstream apps /play store and prefer fdroid and similar..
Then "the focus for now is on devices with a wider user base" - and you find devices like essential phone, leeco and gigaset in their list.
Weird views imho.

Hope anbox gets going or glodroid as second booting system - as i still need my banking + local traffic app about once a week.
