There's an update coming soon for UT on Pinephone. Just wait a little. Currently camera is sluggish but that will be changing. It does make calls, sms on t-mobile 3g network. You must switch to 3g for calls to work. 4g data/sms does work. They have been busy with a major system upgrade. But I see progress starting again on UT for Pinephone.
