LTE modem datasheet links on the wiki are outdated
#1
The pine64 wiki datasheet links for the LTE modem link to outdated files, also there are quite a few more data sheets available on the vendors product page (though I don't know if all are applicable to the modem in the Pinephone).

Here are the most recent versions of the files listed by the wiki:
https://www.quectel.com/UploadFile/Produ...n_V2.0.pdf
https://www.quectel.com/UploadImage/Down...l_V1.3.pdf

A login seems to be required to access the various data sheets, but this can be circumvented by directly accessing the files using the base url "https://www.quectel.com/UploadImage/Downlad/" + "<file_name>.pdf".

For example, the link for "Quectel_EC25_Hardware_Design_V2.3" resolves to https://www.quectel.com/UploadImage/Down...n_V2.3.pdf

It would be nice if the wiki could be updated in that regard, thanks

It's the EG25-G, not the EC25....

Still an old version though. New version is 1.2.
I´ll try to correct that in the wiki

[x] done

Also corrected info about the modem being the EC25 version.

You're right, I guess I got too sidetracked by the wiki links of older revisions mostly pointing to EC25 files (as well as no mentioning of EG25-G in either Quectel's Linux driver source or Linux's mainline driver source).

Interestingly there doesn't seem to be command list datasheet available for the EG25-G, even though some of its datasheets reference a "Quectel_LTE_Standard_AT_Commands_Manual" (nowhere to be found online, maybe its not publicly available?).

Thanks for updating the wiki nonetheless.

edit: Looking at Quectel's Product Portfolio Overview I get the impression that EG25-G seems to be just a "global" version of EC25, so I guess most features/commands will work/behave in a similar fashion.

I've never been able to find a manual strictly for the EG25-G, but I have found manuals for the EC25, BG96, etc. and for the most part they seem to work on the EG25-G exactly as they would on their own.

For example, this manual for the BG96 seems to work with the EG25-G https://www.quectel.com/UploadImage/Down...e_V1.0.pdf (Although these commands are kind of useless atm on UT, been meaning to try again with the latest updates)
