Hardware upgrades?
#1
Hey Pinephone community,

Does anybody know if hardware upgrades are to be expected between the release of the UBPorts edition and some later edition that is ready for the regular consumer market?

My concern is that if I buy the UBPorts edition, it will not be supported when a Linux mobile OS is finally ready for regular use down the road (Ubuntu Touch or any other OS).

Thanks! Big Grin

At this point, there are no planned hardware changes from the UBPorts Community Edition. Unless there are severe design flaws found, the design will stay the same for several years.
