1GB Pine64+ freezes/crashes with all installs

2+8/34 on e-connector, and directly on the rails of the connector from the supply as well for good measure.

I can run a USB mouse, USB keyboard and ethernet network together while at the same time putting all four cores on full blast without a single hiccup when powering the Pine via the 5V USB connector, but maximizing the available bandwidth on the much less power-consuming WiFi link does not work, not even with mouse+keyboard disconnected and no mentionable load on the SoC.
