case for RockPro64 + PCI-E M.2 NVMe Card? - AndyOfLinux - 03-08-2019 I'd really like to find a case that would hold my RockPro64 with heatsink, WiFi/BT module + PCI-E M.2 NVMe SSD Card. Does anyone know of any available or "coming soon" cases that would work? -- Ever hopeful -- Andy ![]() RE: case for RockPro64 + PCI-E M.2 NVMe Card? - smx - 03-10-2019 I guess you need to build your own case in 3D software and let create it from someone, there existing many company´s and private persons with 3d printer or cnc machines. Dont forget to upload 3D model to open databases so other people can use it too. ![]() RE: case for RockPro64 + PCI-E M.2 NVMe Card? - futurejones - 03-26-2019 If you start with the acrylic case - https://www.pine64.org/?product=pine64-acrylic-open-enclosure and extend the legs to 70mm you end up with a really nice looking case. I used some aluminum tube that slides over the existing legs and then used some longer m8 bolts to re-attach the top. Can I ask you what model of pcie to m2 you used ? Thank you in advance for your help RE: case for RockPro64 + PCI-E M.2 NVMe Card? - vorondil - 08-09-2019 Hello, I'm also looking for an option. Does anybody knows if it would it fit in the "NAS" case? Do you think they would be any benefit/disadvantage in the added power supply? An alternative solution may be the use of PINEBOOK Pro's M.2/NGFF NVMe SSD Interface Adapter. This is at least what @pfeerick is trying to do see: https://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=7757 (07-26-2019, 09:48 PM)pfeerick Wrote:(07-26-2019, 04:32 AM)abdel Wrote: I was talking about rockpro64 board ... there is no way to connect it because no 40/50 pin FFC connector on rockpro. Not quite @abdel .... my intention is to use the standard Rockpro64 NVMe adapter, and use a PCIe riser cable with it (it's somewhere between China and Australia now ![]() RE: case for RockPro64 + PCI-E M.2 NVMe Card? - kaylios - 08-24-2019 (08-12-2019, 08:47 PM)pfeerick Wrote:(08-10-2019, 01:07 AM)abdel Wrote: An alternative solution may be the use of PINEBOOK Pro's M.2/NGFF NVMe SSD Interface Adapter. Hi @pfeerick Did you get your PCIe raiser cable ? Did you succeed ? Is the temperature ok ? Which case are you using ? Thank you RE: case for RockPro64 + PCI-E M.2 NVMe Card? - MotoFufu9k - 12-19-2020 Also interested in a case for RockPro64 with NVME PCI-e here. Best thing I could find was: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3679200 The NAS case would have too much unused storage for my taste. Personally I would love to just have a taller version of the aluminium case, but I guess I will have to make do. RE: case for RockPro64 + PCI-E M.2 NVMe Card? - kuleszdl - 01-05-2021 I thought about this as well. Is there a chance we could fit the NVMe ssd inside the "premium aluminium" case when using a riser card for the PCIe slot somehow? |
