I still don't have my Pine64+. I have a question for those familiar with the board's spec.

I don't think will know. The Pine A64 USB power current cut off point is 650mA and this portable USB monitor will consume more than 650mA.  This means the Pine A64 board will cut of the USB power and protect the board from over current.

If you can't use 2 power adapters (one for the pine64, one for the display), you could use a splitter cable like Adafruit now sells (https://www.adafruit.com/products/3030). This would allow you to use only one plug.

I just looked at that monitor, and it uses a USB 3 cable. Note that the pine64 only supports USB 2.

I just looked at the monitor, and it needs a (Windows or OS X) driver since the display controller is inside the display and driven with compressed image data preprocessed by a display driver residing on the Mac or Windows PC.

Always stop when looking at USB display solutions unless it's USB type C and it's mentioned that one of the alternate data modes (DisplayPort) is used and NOT USB. Only then a 'USB attached display' can be driven the 'usual way'.

Sorry, I don't think show. But, still search for this. I have knowledge of portable monitors, but I have never used Pine64. So, please tell me more about this.
