That and at least Mobian on Pinephone needs better battery life.

It really, Really REALLY needs better battery life. Running Bookworm, I unplugged the phone at 5:30am. It rode in my pocket until about 10am, and the battery was almost completely discharged. That STINKS!

I suggest you put your PinePhone in crust mode.

Ryo, that suspends the machine, just leaves the modem awake enough to receive calls and texts, right?

It suspends, then pops back awake in a few seconds, to the lock screen.

Correct.

Happens sometimes if you put it to crust mode and immediately put it in your pocket.
Best is to wait a couple of seconds before doing that, and make sure you won't touch the power button, since that's the only input device that remains enabled while under crust.
