@fosf0r - thanks for the feedback! And I'm glad you've been having luck with improving video playback! In the alpha release, all of your suggestions should have already been implemented. As ETA Prime mentioned in his review, smooth 4k@60fps with A/V sync is an issue with Rockchip boards / kernel. The good news is that my kernel in the upcoming beta actually does have a fix for that
