Battery drain when off
#1
I bought a Pinebook Pro recently, and I've been using it with Tow-Boot installed and dual-booting Ubuntu and Manjaro. I've been having problems with excessive battery drain, even when powered off. I just did a test, and in six hours, the battery dropped from 99% to 59% after shutting down Ubuntu 22.10.

Is this a known problem? Is there a workaround or fix? I'm quite able to compile a custom kernel, if that's what it takes, although a pointer to a suitable config file would be helpful.

Thanks!

It sounds like Ubuntu is not actually turning it off. My latest one will probably use that much battery during 6 hours of active use, and the battery does not drain noticeably in weeks of power-off state. But I use neither Ubuntu nor Manjaru.
