I'm assuming this is the native resolution for the PINE64 7" LCD display that this build mentions in the release notes. I was able to change the resolution by opening an ADB shell and then running the wm size command followed by the desired resolution. In my case it looked like this:
rk3399_mid:/ $ wm size 1920x1080
Obviously you can change the desired resolution to match your display's native resolution and orientation.
Curiously, there is a defined "HDMI Screen" that is set to 1920x1080. I wonder if the interfaces were mixed up and users who connect the 7" display to the DSI/eDP ribbon will be see nothing since their 1024x600 screen will be trying to output 1080p.
Thanks on the explanation. We will release a new build soon that has 1920x1080 UI that works with ROCKPro64 and also Pinebook Pro.
Hello tllim,
Is there any improvement in the 1920x1080 UI?
