Some questions
#1
Hello, everyone.

I have two questions. I am using the Android Image 7.1.2 but it has only the patchlevel April 2017, is it planned to be updated?

Second question. I've seen that there's a linux kernel here:

https://github.com/ayufan-rock64

Do I have to install the firmware, as with the raspberry pi? If so, how?
Or is it enough to just take the current image?

Thank you very much!

I have the same question. Looks like from things I've read that we don't have the option to update per usual app updates so I think we'll have to wait for a Pine person to weigh in.
I assume you're asking about the linux images. If so, yup, just pull one/them down, flash them to an SD card using Etcher if your on a PC. There's a beginner's guide that's great in the wiki. Covers writing the build on Windows, MacOS and Linux. I think this is the link http://wiki.pine64.org/index.php/Main_Page#ROCK64
The main wiki page for the Rock64 is http://wiki.pine64.org/index.php/ROCK64_Main_Page
If you're needing info on writing to an eMMC chip there's a great tutorial written by MarkHaysHarris777 in the general discussion on Rock64, important threads section, in the forum. Works like a champ.
Have fun. Big Grin
