the samsung one is missing a backlit keyboard but looks good otherwise.

Both just examples of netbooks using the rk3399 wasn't really about what they are employed with.

To be frank the peripherals need to be in a cost spectrum that is comparable to the SoC used.
I would say 1080p & backlit keyboards on a rk3288 would be a complete mismatch in cost spectrum.
Maybe with RK3399 but also due to the size of the screen and battery considerations with a netbook majors such as Asus & Samsung think differently.

Make a poll maybe get some community votes of what is of interest & importance.
Personally with a netbook its a reasonable processor that is battery optimised.

That is why you are probably going to see lesser resolutions and none backlit zero power keyboards.
The rk3288 is specifically aimed at tvboxes with low price good video encoding with a relatively modest processor.
Personally I think it would make a relatively poor and limited netbook that a difference of a $100 would be the difference between a poor product and an extremely good one.
rk3328 vs rk3399 for me is quite clear and the engineers at rockchip never intended the rk3328 to end up in a netbook which is not true about the rk3399.
