The support ticket is the best option; please be patient , if you have not heard from them in a couple of days PM TLLim.
In the mean time, I would try to remove the micro usb connector ( be careful ) and clean the board the best you can. Then, provide power to the board via the euler bus pin(6 +5v) pin(4 ground).
That is how we recommend you power the board anyway ! The board is probably ok; worth a try.
