Hello everybody.
I have kingston 16GB claa 10 SD card. I have downloaded the 16 GB android image but when i try to DD the image on the SD I havn't enough space on the SD.
I have also tryed with Win32Imager but I have the same problem.

How can i solve?

Funny, it seems the PhoenixCard images aren't available any more and the DD images have been created wrong (too large). So either use the 8GB DD image on your ultra-slow Kingston card or better buy a Samsung EVO 32GB and try again.

So the kingston SD are not fast enough? What about the SanDisk Extreme 32 GB 90 MB/sec, Class 10, U3 ?

The only way to tell is to test individually (but Kingston always shows horribly low random IO performance, no need to test). Speed class is completely irrelevant since it's sequential speed which is not interesting at all and also bottlenecked by Pine64. The best buy today are Samsung EVO with 32 or 64 GB.

Some (many) numbers: http://forum.armbian.com/index.php/topic...rformance/ and http://forum.armbian.com/index.php/topic...rformance/

My SanDisk Extreme Pro perform very nicely when writing images on OS X but are not even half as fast as the way cheaper EVO when used in SBCs (sequential performance is identical but random IO matters and there the EVOs win for whatever reasons, I would assume Samsung uses a faster Micro controller and maybe also a larger spare area which should improve wear-leveling a lot).

If I would buy SanDisk again I would either choose Extreme Pro or Plus (and that for reliability and not speed on SBCs)
